This place was a very pleasant surprise for me. Some of the best tasting meat I have had in Colombia. Tender, juicy and well-seasoned with ample sides. A great bargain too. I highly recommend the morillo. The asadero and the wait staff were all very attentive. I enjoyed the rustic atmosphere and the log framed building as well.

Pretty interesting place..nice ambience..very rustic and comfortable. Portions are immense. For some reason the waiter led me to believe that they didn't have solomito and he recommended the T Bone which sucked, I complained they replaced my entire meal with the solomito that I wanted in the first place. The service was good especially for Colombia even comparing the service to that in the US, it was very good. I intended to give them 4 stars but changed it to 5 star because looking back and comparing it to other dining experiences, it was really good. They even brought out sample steaks for us while we were waiting for our meal. All of this extremely rare in Colombia. In addition, this town is very third world, and from what I have seen so far, there aren't many really good choices, but Im a fussy eater , the opposite of, say, Bourdain.
